Today, Wednesday, the Public Prosecution carried out the legal retaliation sentence by firing squad to death for two convicts, for committing two separate murders for each of them, and then executed in the correctional yard of the central prison in the Mansoura District, Aden Governorate 

The first legal retaliation sentence was executed by firing squad until death under the supervision of the Chief Prosecutor of the North Aden Appeals Prosecution, Judge Yahya Nasser Al-Shuaibi, and the Deputy Prosecutor of Dar Saad Primary Instance, Judge Hani Al-Sarari, in Case No. 15 of 2018 AD, JJ, Dar Saad Primary Prosecution, in which the convict was convicted. Saleh Muhammad Salem Alawi, for killing the victim Mohsen Aidaroos Mohsen Al-Saadi.

The second Sharia retaliation sentence of death by firing squad was also executed under the supervision of the Chief Prosecutor of the Southern Aden Appeal, Judge Wadah Abdullah Badhib, and the Deputy Prosecutor of Sira Primary School, Judge Abdul Qadir Al-Fadhli, in Criminal Case No. 15 of 2018 AD, J.J., Sira Primary Prosecution, and the convict in it. Jalal Muhammad Mohsen Muhammad, for committing the crime of drinking alcohol and killing the victim, Amer Saleh Qasim.

The death sentence was implemented in implementation of the ruling of the Sira Court of First Instance issued on April 18, 2019, which ruled firstly: convicting the accused and punishing him with 80 lashes for drinking alcohol, which was implemented... in addition to the death sentence by firing squad until death, supported by The Supreme Court of the Republic on 3/24/2021 AD, after the approval of the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.

The two rulings were implemented after the Public Prosecution persuaded and urged the blood relatives to forgive them or accept blood money, which was rejected by them. After the completion of the reading of the execution document, the death sentence was executed directly for the convicts.

The implementation of these two rulings came as a result of the efforts made by His Excellency the Public Prosecutor, Judge Qahir Mustafa Ali, in his keenness and acceleration of the procedures by ratifying them before His Excellency the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, which fulfilled their right to legal retribution from the convict, as well as his keenness to implement 7 other death sentences this morning. Retaliation and punishment in all liberated governorates, in compliance with the Almighty’s saying: (And for you there is life in retaliation, O you of understanding, that you may become righteous).

The execution ruling was attended by Judge Bassam Ghaleb, Deputy Prosecutor of Security and Research in Aden Governorate, Judge Nasser Modhesh, Deputy Prosecutor of the Prison, Al-Qaldi Mustafa Salah Ali Ibrahim Nour, Member of the Sira Primary Prosecution, the Head of the Criminal Registry in the South Aden Prosecution, Mr. Amr Bilal, and the Director of Mansoura Central Prison, Naqeeb Al-Yahri. And the blood relatives of the victims, and a large number of security personnel.
