The quantity of expired medicines includes two types: the first is 320 cartons of Vitamin C, 500 grams, and the second is 34 cartons of Amzol, 40 grams.
The destruction also included seven tons of chicken, meat derivatives, and spoiled cheese as a result of poor storage, the appearance of a human condition on them, and the emission of odors.
The destruction process was supervised by the Acting Deputy Prosecutor for Industry and Trade, Judge Dr. Sumaya Al-Qubati, a member of the Prosecution, Judge Jihan Al-Dhafri, and the committee consisting of the Director General of Consumer Protection, Fadl Sweileh, the Director General of Ministry Operations, Abdul Salam Mansour, and from the Office of Industry and Trade in Aden, the Director of Supply Control, Omar Abbad, and representatives of the Standards Authority.
