Fire broke out, Thursday morning, in a Voxy bus in the Farza market in Yafa’ Labous District, Lahj Governorate.

Local sources said that the fire broke out as a result of the explosion of the gas cylinder used to operate the bus, after it had been converted from using oil to gas.

The sources reported that the accident occurred very quickly, as flames and thick plumes of smoke rose from the bus, prompting those in the market to quickly move away from the accident site for fear of other possible explosions.

The sources indicated that fire brigades intervened in an attempt to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby cars and shops, while no human casualties have been reported so far.
