In implementation of the directives of Mr. Badr, Maoun Saeed, Deputy Governor of Aden Governorate, and based on the reports of the Geological Survey and the Meteorological Authority, Mr. Abdul Rahim Al-Jawi, Director General of Al-Mualla District, directed to begin an awareness and warning campaign for citizens living in the mountainous highlands (Sheikh Ishaq - Castro - Al-Shu'la District - Al-Shu'la District - May - Radfan Lebouza neighborhood - Al-Dakka Heights) from torrents and rockslides, as well as in the Al-Dakka area.
Al-Jawi indicated that the leadership of the local authority is paying the utmost attention and is proactive in the preparations and equipment for the directorate’s emergency teams and the directorate’s operations in coordination and communication with the head of the community committees, Engineer/Al-Halmi, who in turn communicates with the heads of the residential neighborhoods in the mountainous highlands in the areas mentioned above, where official notices and warnings will be distributed to the residents of those locations in addition to To the participation of the youth and girls teams in the local authority in this campaign.
Al-Jawi praised the role of the leadership of the community committees in Al-Mualla, represented by the engineer/Al-Halmi and all the heads of the residential neighborhoods in the district for their quick response to directives and assistance to the local authority in the district in all circumstances, calling on everyone to prepare for any emergency.
