Shabwa Police, supported by two crews from the First Brigade and the Second Shabwa Defense Brigade, arrested a citizen who killed his brother with several gunshots in a residential neighborhood in the city of Ataq.

Initial investigations revealed that the accused, called (Murad Abdullah Saleh Amer), killed his brother (Saleh Abdullah Saleh Amer), for reasons that are still under investigation.

After the security forces imposed a security cordon around the crime scene, they were able to arrest the killer within a short period of committing the crime, and took him to the Ataq Police Department to complete the preliminary investigations. 

The Director General of Shabwa Police, Brigadier General Fouad Muhammad Al-Nasi, in a statement to the Security Media Office of Shabwa Police, praised the efforts of security and defense personnel in arresting the killer, stressing that this operation comes within the framework of joint security coordination between Shabwa Police and all security and military units in the governorate. .

Calling on all citizens to cooperate with the security services and report any suspicious movements to help maintain security and stability in the governorate.
