Taiz...removing mines and barrages from both sides in preparation for opening the Al-Hawban-Madina road

Today, Saturday, government agencies in the Yemeni city of Taiz began removing dirt barriers, waste, and trees in preparation for the “opening of the road,” which the Houthis announced opening months after the Yemeni government’s initiative to open it unilaterally.
Local sources said, “This morning, government agencies began removing waste and securing the road leading to Al-Qasr Tour, Al-Hawban, by the local authority in Taiz, while eyewitnesses said that a team affiliated with the Houthis began removing mines that they had planted previously.”
p>Activists circulated pictures of the de-mining team surveying the area at the furthest border near the first barricade with the Houthis towards the Al-Hawban area.
Mechanisms from the Houthi-controlled areas continue to work to open the roads.
