The price of domestic gas rose suddenly in Aden

The price of domestic gas rose suddenly in Aden, coinciding with the rise in the price of diesel.
Local sources confirmed to Khabar Agency that residents were surprised over the past 24 hours when the owners of private stations raised the price of a cylinder weighing 20 kg to 7,500 riyals, an increase of one thousand riyals.
The sudden increase came a few days after a similar hike carried out by the owners of private gas stations across the districts, which included a thousand riyals increase in the price of a 20-litre can of diesel fuel, according to the sources.
The price of a plate has risen to 28 thousand riyals, which increases constitute an additional burden on the citizen, in light of the continued collapse of the local currency against foreign currencies, as one US dollar as of Saturday afternoon recorded 1,763 Yemeni riyals.
The capital, Aden, is witnessing an unusual regulatory chaos, as businessmen and financiers control various economic and service sectors, while the government agencies concerned with oversight and arresting violators are content to follow in silence.
Economic sources reported that the suffering of citizens is constantly worsening throughout the country, as a result of the absence of government oversight, in addition to the spread of corruption in the government system.
