The Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Muhammad Al-Daari, held a meeting today via video communication technology, under the leadership of the Taiz axis, to discuss developments in the field situation in Taiz Governorate.

At the meeting, in the presence of the Taiz Police Director, Brigadier General Mansour Al-Akhali, the Minister of Defense praised the readiness of the Taiz axis units and their steadfastness on various fronts of honor and dignity to confront the terrorist Houthi militia... conveying to everyone the greetings of Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Command Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

Regarding the issue of opening roads, the Minister of Defense confirmed that all the roads in the various governorates on the part of the armed forces and the government are open and were only blocked by the Houthi terrorist militias, intensifying the suffering of the Yemenis... pointing to their path of lying, deception and evasion, especially with regard to opening the roads.< /p>

Minister Al-Daari stressed that such decisions should be made in accordance with the directives of the political leadership and through the relevant committees, away from randomness and haste... guided by raising the level of coordination and military security integration between the Taiz axis and the security services to enhance security and stability in the governorate.

The Minister of Defense noted that the road issue in general requires a ceasefire agreement to ensure the safety of civilians and travelers... holding the terrorist Houthi militia responsible for the lives of citizens and those traveling along the roads as a result of the mines and explosives that the militias planted on various roads.
