The Yemeni Bar Association in Taiz announces its support for opening roads and lifting the siege

The Yemeni Bar Association in Taiz announced its full support for the calls and statements made yesterday regarding the opening of the main lines and roads to and from the city of Taiz, which has been besieged for years.
The union stressed in a press statement the importance of this step in alleviating the suffering of Citizens in the city.
The union indicated that it is following with great interest the recent developments related to the opening of main roads, considering what happened yesterday a step in the right direction.
It called for taking several steps to ensure the seriousness and credibility of this process, including preparing the roads. By removing mines, explosive remnants of war, dirt piles, trenches, cement blocks, and trees that obstruct traffic.
It also called for agreeing on a safe zone between the parties on the lines of contact to avoid friction and collision resulting from congestion, a commitment not to impose fees, and an emphasis on Not to impose any levies or sums of money on vehicles under any pretext.
The union indicated that its council decided to form a team to support these efforts, communicate and coordinate with the concerned authorities, and form subcommittees in the city and the two neighborhoods of male and female lawyers to facilitate communication with those concerned, and to ensure the completion of Open roads safely.
