The Ministry of Finance announced today, Sunday, that it has begun implementing the directives of Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, to quickly launch financial reinforcements for the salaries of May 2024 for employees of state institutions in the civil and military sectors, retirees, the wounded, and the families of martyrs, and to send them to the Central Bank of Yemen in the capital. An official source in the Ministry of Finance explained that the directives also stipulate the disbursement of salaries to the subsidized units for the months of April and May 2024.

The source confirmed that the government and the Ministry of Finance are keen to accelerate the completion of financial reinforcements for the salaries of civil and military state employees, retirees, the wounded, and the families of martyrs, taking into account the economic and living conditions of employees as the blessed Eid Al-Adha approaches.
