The United States of America, through one of its former diplomats at the American Embassy in Yemen, clarified the confessions of former employees of the embassy, ​​which were broadcast by the Houthi militias under the name of a spy cell for the (American-Israeli) intelligence.

The former US Deputy Ambassador to Yemen, Dr. Nabil Khoury, said, commenting on the confessions of the employee, “Shayef Al-Hamdani,” who was accused by the militias of spying for the network tracking the Israeli Mossad and American intelligence: “I know Shayef Al-Hamdani personally, and he is a loyal Yemeni citizen, and he has been in prison for Three years."

Khoury added, wondering: “How could he work against you from there? Please release him immediately, if it is not for health and humanitarian reasons.”
