The head of the Southern Journalists and Media Professionals Syndicate, Mr. Aidaroos Bahashwan, met at the Syndicate’s headquarters in Tawahi this Thursday morning, with the Council of the Southern Journalists and Media Professionals Syndicate in Lahj Governorate.
Bahashwan welcomed the leadership of the Lahj Governorate Union, represented by the head of the branch, Mr. Ahmed Malikan, and all members of the branch, stressing the importance of consultation and meetings with the branches and preparing to launch work and activities during the coming period.
He indicated in his speech that the General Syndicate strives to protect and care for southern journalists and media professionals as much as it can according to its available capabilities.
He stressed that the General Syndicate faces many challenges, but with the combined efforts of everyone, including southern journalists and media professionals, we can overcome all challenges.
Captain Bahashwan was briefed by the leadership of the Lahj Branch Council on the union’s plans regarding activities and membership in the union, in order to preserve their rights in Lahj and other governorates.
