Stephen Fagin: It is shocking that the Houthis arrest innocent Yemeni citizens

The United States Ambassador to Yemen, Stephen Fagin, said in a statement that it is shocking that the terrorist Houthi group arrested innocent citizens.
Stephen's statement read:
Shockingly, over the past few days, the Houthis have arrested dozens of innocent Yemeni citizens. These men and women work with the United Nations, diplomatic bodies, and NGOs and are committed to working for the benefit of Yemen and its future.
We condemn the Houthis' shameful broadcast of these false mandatory charges.
The Houthis thank these Yemenis instead of these false charges and imprisonment. The Yemeni people deserve good treatment instead of the delusional Houthi lies aimed at adopting their absurd, tyrannical rule.
The United States has worked to support an end to the conflict in Yemen, including investing billions of dollars to meet the basic humanitarian needs of the Yemeni people, support education, prevent an environmental disaster, and help protect the economy from the harms of the conflict. We call on the Houthis to release the detainees immediately as we will not rest until our fellow local Yemeni employees return safely to their families.
