The US State Department condemns the Houthis' arrests of UN employees

The US State Department condemned the recent arrests carried out by the Houthi group of United Nations and US mission employees in the capital, Sanaa.
Matthew Miller, spokesman for the US State Department, said, "The United States strongly condemns the recent arrests carried out by the Houthis of UN employees, diplomats, and non-governmental organizations."
He added that Washington also strongly condemns the Houthi efforts to disseminate information regarding the role of current and former local employees of the US mission who are detained through forced and false televised confessions.
