Sources revealed that gunmen wearing military uniforms kidnapped the well-known journalist and photographer Saleh Al-Obaidi in the capital, Aden.

His brother, Muhammad Al-Obaidi, said in press statements that gunmen wearing military uniforms and on board a military kit kidnapped his brother from the ship’s tour of Sheikh Othman, where he was accompanied by his young son and two of his colleagues, and Al-Obaidi was detained along with his brother Khaldoun.

He indicated that Saleh Al-Obaidi was severely beaten, the surveillance cameras were broken, and he was transferred to an entity believed to be the Dar Saad Security Department, according to his brother’s statements.
