Saudi Arabia provides support to Yemen... two payments to support the budget and purchase oil derivatives

The Central Bank of Yemen in Aden announced that it had received two batches of support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to support the general budget and purchase oil derivatives.
The Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, and the Prime Minister of Yemen, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman. For their generous brotherly stances and continued support for the Yemeni people.
Al-Alimi stressed that this new batch of generous grant will contribute significantly to the state’s continued fulfillment of its obligations, foremost of which is paying employees’ salaries and meeting the increasing service and humanitarian needs.
For his part, Bin Mubarak indicated that the generous support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will enable the Yemeni government to pay the salaries of state employees, improve electricity services, and stop the deterioration in currency prices. It will also enable it to persist with the financial and administrative reform program.
This Saudi assistance comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to support the brotherly Yemeni people, alleviate their human suffering, and strengthen the efforts of the Yemeni government to restore security and stability.
