We saw a statement attributed to the Al-Jaadna tribe dated (6/16/2024 AD), followed by another irresponsible statement on the same date calling for blocking roads in Abyan Governorate, and all of these calls are in response to the incident of the kidnapping of Sheikh Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani in Aden Governorate by an unknown party. .

Therefore, the security services in Abyan Governorate respond to these statements with the following:-

First -  The security services and their leadership followed up on the kidnapping of Sheikh Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani, the unknown perpetrators, in the capital, Aden. The Abyan Governorate Security Director was in constant communication with the Aden Governorate Security Director, the Chairman of the Security Committee in the Transitional Council, Brigadier General Ahmed Hassan, and the Counter-Terrorism Commander in Aden Colonel Yusran Al-Maqtari,

This communication with the security authorities in Aden can be summed up as

It confirmed that the kidnapper had not been arrested, but it is continuing the search for him.  

Secondly - The leadership of Abyan Governorate scheduled a meeting between a number of Al-Ja’adna sheikhs and the director of security of Aden Governorate. This meeting was scheduled to take place today (6/17/2024 AD), and after communication with the notables of the Al-Ja’adna tribe and some of its leadership was interrupted, we sent Brigadier General Abdul Qadir Al-Jaari contacted them, but no positive response came, and the language of blocking roads and chaos was the only prevailing language, supported by other irresponsible statements.

Third - The leadership of the Abyan Security Governorate confirms that cutting off roads will bring nothing but more trouble to the ordinary citizen, as columns of citizens’ cars are now parked under the blazing sun and the pitch darkness of the night, and security forces from the security forces and the Security Belt forces will support them. Other military units have their duty to confront any chaotic actions in the governorate, and everyone must know that Abyan Governorate is not a backyard of the capital, Aden, and that whoever has a case in Aden must resort to the competent authorities in Aden and not open conflicts in Abyan, that the language and culture of blocking roads It is not useful to any citizen or tribe, and we have suffered from it a lot recently. According to statistics from the Abyan Governorate Security Department, more than 50% of the problems that occur in Abyan Governorate result from problems that occurred in the capital, Aden, and are transferred to Abyan Governorate. Therefore, the Security Administration demands Abyan Governorate: One of the honorable and heroes of Al-Jaadna is to stand alongside the security services to maintain security and stability in Abyan Governorate. 

Fourth - We received reports of attacks on some locomotives and damage to one of them, and we have the names of those who committed these cowardly acts and they will be prosecuted through the law, and everyone who incited these irresponsible acts will be included, regardless of their capacity and name, and the law will be the deciding factor.

Fifthly - Finally, the issue of Ali Ashal is the issue of all the people of Abyan, and is not limited to anyone. We assure everyone that we are in constant communication with the security and military system in Aden, given that Sheikh Ali Ashal is one of the people of Abyan Governorate, and we will do our utmost and all the resources we have. Possibilities and continuity until his return to his family safe and sound, God willing.
