A security source in the capital, Aden, gave details of the clashes that broke out this morning in the Bir Ahmed area of ​​Al-Buraiqa District.

The source explained that the reasons for the clashes that took place in the Bir Ahmed area were due to previous altercations that took place yesterday between Mahmoud Adeeb Mubjar and the victim, Abdul-Aleem Nasser Muhammad Qasim.

The source added that the clashes caused the death of Abdul-Aleem Nasser Muhammad Qasim and the wounding of two other people. He pointed out that the Al-Shaab City police began going to the crime scene with a team of forensic evidence and women’s police. They also transferred the victim’s body to the Al-Jumhuriya Hospital morgue and supervised the transfer. The injured are receiving treatment in Aden hospitals.

The source confirmed that the Commander of the People’s Police, Colonel Obaid Saleh, and the Commander of Facilities Protection in Aden Security, Colonel Muhammad Al-Samantar, accompanied by the female police, entered a house related to the incident, and there is no truth to the rumors that talk about raids on citizens’ homes, as all measures were taken in accordance with the law.

The source reported that the security forces arrested a number of defendants while the investigation is still ongoing with all parties, which would reveal the truth, and as soon as the investigations are completed, the case file will be transferred to the competent authorities.
