A soldier from the Security Belt was injured following clashes with gunmen in Al-Waht

Violent clashes broke out yesterday evening in the Al-Waht area of Taban District between military forces affiliated with the Security Belt and gunmen belonging to a smuggling gang.
Local sources said that the clashes broke out after one of the smugglers opened fire directly on the security deployment sites of the Security Belt in the Al-Waht area.
The sources indicated that a member of the Security Belt Forces, named “Arif Saleh Ahmed,” was injured, and he was transferred to Doctors Without Borders Hospital in Aden.
