Al-Saqladi: The STC did not adopt Al-Ghaithi’s statement because it would push him into a corner in front of the people in the south

Journalist and political activist Salah Al-Saqladi said that the statement of the head of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission and member of the transitional presidency, Muhammad Al-Ghaithi, was not adopted by the transitional party because it would push him into a corner in front of the people in the south and the remaining fig leaves of misinformation would fall from him.
This came in a post on his Facebook page monitored by the editor of the “Scoop 24” website, in which he said: Many of the transitional leaders praised Al-Ghaithi’s statement in which he said that his body (the Reconciliation and Consultation Commission) is not concerned with discussing the southern issue and that the priority is to restore the Yemeni state, and that A dialogue to address the southern issue will be needed for many, many years, according to his words.
He added: It is a realistic statement, despite it being two and a half years late, and despite the fact that the man kept deluding people that his body had come to address the southern issue and to shorten the path to restoring the southern state. The government and the Presidential Council are not a suitable place for the southern issue, according to Al-Ghaithi, and that the place for its discussion and solution will be in consultations conducted under international supervision, even though Al-Ghaithi and the Transitional Council have been and are still begging to be included in the negotiating team in the Presidential Council. There is no need for imagination with contradiction and confusion.
He continued by saying: Returning to Al-Ghaithi’s statement in the Transitional Council, despite some of its members praising that shocking and controversial statement, it has not officially adopted it yet and will not do so. Why? Because he knows that he will be pushed into a corner in front of the people in the south, and the rest of the fig leaves of deception and mercenaryism that are hidden (...) will fall from him.
He concluded by saying: Al-Ghaithi put the transitional party in (Hais Bais). Either the transitional party adopts those statements and puts people before the truth as it is, without falsity or gain, or it disavows it, continues the misinformation, and continues the discord between the unity in Ma’ashiq and the alleged separation in Gold Moor. It continues to display the flag of Yemen in the morning and the flag of the south in the evening.
