The Houthis hold the husband of a pregnant woman hostage in Sanaa until she gives birth

The Houthi group held the husband of a pregnant woman hostage until she gave birth, according to close sources.
The sources explained that the Houthis raided the home of an employee of a UN organization, who was in the last month of her pregnancy, with the aim of arresting her.
Instead of arresting her, they held her husband (F.S.) hostage, until she gave birth and surrendered herself.
During the raid, the Houthis confiscated a sum of money and passports from the house, and imposed tight security on it.
This incident comes in the context of a massive arrest campaign launched by the Houthis recently, targeting former employees of embassies and international organizations, and the group charged them with spying for its enemies.
These arbitrary measures continue to raise widespread concern about the safety of workers in international organizations and civilians in Houthi-controlled areas, where violations and arrests continue to increase.
