Revealing a new Houthi campaign targeting artists and wedding hall owners

Yemeni media reported that the Houthi militia carried out a massive kidnapping campaign in Amran Governorate, northern Yemen, which it began last Thursday, and affected a number of wedding hall owners, artists and musicians in the governorate.
Local sources reported that the kidnapping campaign came under the direct direction of the Houthi leader Abdulaziz Abu Kharfsha, who was recently appointed security director for the governorate.
The sources reported that among the kidnapped were: Ezzedine Rashid (owner of Al-Haiti Wedding Hall), Yahya Al-Basali (owner of Al-Madina Hall for Weddings and Events), Yahya Al-Madri (owner of Al-Emadi Wedding Hall), in addition to the artists Muhammad Al-Nisani, Bilal Al-Amiri, and vocalist Najeeb Al-Shami. . The militia also confiscated audio equipment belonging to sound engineer Muhib Ballous and the tools of musician Ali Al-Atir.
