Al-Baydani, a prominent leader in the ranks of the Al-Qaeda organization, was killed in an American raid in Ma’rib

A prominent field leader in the ranks of Al-Qaeda in Yemen was killed “Sunday evening” in an air strike believed to be American that targeted him in the Al-Wadi District in Ma’rib Governorate, “northeast of the country.”
Local sources reported that an air strike launched by an American drone, on Sunday evening, targeted the prominent field leader in the ranks of Al-Qaeda in Yemen called “Hamza Saleh Abd Rabbo Al-Mashdali,” known as (Abu Saleh Al-Baydani), while he was riding a bicycle. A gunfire in the Al-Husun area of Wadi Ubaida District in Ma’rib, which led to his death.
The sources explained that the American raid also injured eight other people who were near the site of the incident.
Al-Mashdali is one of the most prominent names associated with the “unmanned aerial vehicles” file within the organization in Shabwa Governorate, and he participated in terrorist operations targeting government forces in Abyan and Shabwa Governorates.
