Yesterday evening, the engineering teams of the Balhaf axis, in cooperation with the 11th Sa’iqa Brigade and the 20th Brigade Giants Battalion, were able to dismantle an explosive device planted by unknown elements next to the main line near the city of Gul al-Raida in the Mayfa’a District.

Lieutenant Colonel Aseel Ahmed bin Rashid, Commander of the 11th Sa’iqa Brigade and Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces in Shabwa Governorate, said, “Thanks to the cooperation of citizens from the district, the explosive device planted next to the asphalt line near the city of Gul al-Rayda was discovered.

Lieutenant Colonel Bin Rashid expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Arab Coalition for their support and efforts made in equipping engineering teams specialized in dismantling explosive devices. He also appreciated the efforts of citizens and their effective cooperation with the security and military services.

Commander Bin Rashid stressed “the need for vigilance and caution, warning” anyone who dares to harm the security and stability of the directorate and the governorate, that the response will be firm and strong against anyone who tries to disturb security. 

This success in dismantling the explosive device reflects the continued efforts and close cooperation between the security and military forces, which contributes to maintaining security and stability in the region.
