The emergency and security support forces of Abyan Governorate, backed by strong emergency services, road security, and the assistance of some sailors, were able to recover the bodies of two children who drowned on the coast of the Sheikh Abdullah area. 

The search for the two drowned people came after a report received by the operations of the Abyan Security Administration stating that two children had drowned in the Sheikh Abdullah Corniche, after which the emergency forces, security support and the supporting force carried out an extensive search operation that lasted hours along the coast until the bodies of the two drowned children were found. The child Samih Faisal Hassan Ali Abdullah, 10 years old, is from the Tamisi neighborhood.

Abyan security forces call on visitors to the governorate’s coasts to exercise caution while going out to the coasts and cornices, due to the high waves and rough sea.
