A meeting of the Aden authorities today in Aden discussed the final preparations for the 2023-224 secondary school certificate exams, which are scheduled to begin next Sunday, June 30.
The Director General of Education in the capital, Aden, confirmed that about (12,957) male and female students will apply to take the ministerial exams this year, including (8,947) male and female students in the scientific section, and (3,983) male and female students in the literary section, and (41) examination centers have been allocated. For the scientific department in all directorates and (28) examination centers for the literary department.
The meeting came out with the approval of a number of procedures aimed at making the examination process a success, represented by the following:
Providing an adequate budget for the examination process
_Providing the appropriate atmosphere in the examination halls so that students feel that there is concern for them to take the exams in an appropriate atmosphere despite the difficult circumstances that the country is experiencing.
_ Completing all technical and administrative procedures to receive the exams in the remaining days, whether in terms of arranging invigilators and supervisors and obliging them to attend before the specified time, and equipping the exam halls with chairs, distinctions, lighting, etc.
_Equipping exam centers and schools that have solar energy in addition to electricity, and coordinating and arranging with the Director General of Aden Electricity and the general directors of the directorates.
Providing the necessary and sufficient security protection for examination centers and not allowing entry to the centers except for students, invigilators and supervisors only, and communicating with the Aden Security Department and the police departments in the directorates regarding any violations.
The general directors of the directorates are mandated to provide drinking water to the examination centers, and all education offices in the directorates must complete the delivery of lists of the numbers of students in all examination centers in all directorates.
Do not allow any gatherings outside and around the examination centers, and provide a calm and appropriate atmosphere for students in the examination halls..
_ Emphasis on great care in ensuring complete confidentiality of exam questions and not leaking them before the exam. Strict measures will be taken against those who are negligent or any attempt to disrupt the course of the exam process.
