The first official statement regarding the detention of Yemeni aircraft in Sanaa

Minister of Endowments, Muhammad Aida Shabiba, made a statement about the Houthi group’s detention of Yemeni aircraft in Sana’a.
Shabiba said that the detention operations were carried out on planes that were transporting pilgrims from Jeddah to Sanaa.
He added, saying: “The Houthis detain four planes at Sana’a International Airport and prevent their return to Jeddah Airport to transport our country’s pilgrims who want to return to Sana’a,”
I assure all agencies that their pilgrims will remain in their homes and stay in Mecca until the return of the planes, God willing. It is forbidden for any agency to transport its pilgrims to the airport, and I ask our honorable pilgrims to settle in their homes until the return of the planes hijacked by the terrorist Houthi militia.
