British Authority: A missile landed near a ship south of Aden, Yemen

The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority said on Wednesday that the captain of a commercial ship reported that a missile had fallen into the waters close to the ship, 52 nautical miles south of the city of Aden in Yemen.
The authority that provides security information added that it had received a report on the incident stating that the crew was safe and that the ship was heading to the next port of call.
The global trade movement was disrupted by the Houthi attacks, which forced ship owners to change their course away from the shortened Suez Canal route, and their attacks were met with American and British raids since February.
The Iran-aligned Houthis have launched dozens of attacks on international shipping in the Red Sea region since November in solidarity with the Palestinians in the war in the Gaza Strip.
