With broad popular participation from the people of Al-Muflihi and Yafa’, the traditional Yafa’ celebrations concluded this afternoon, Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in the Al-Muflihi District of Yafa’ Governorate, with a joyful carnival and artistic festival held in the Al-Qara’i area.

The ceremony witnessed distinctive performances of baraats, zamils ​​and popular chants by a number of popular groups that presented dances successively to the site of the traditional heritage festival. The event also presented heritage performances by the buds wearing traditional youth clothing, in addition to a display of traditional costumes, weapons, swords, shields and tools. Ancient military heritage.

The festival was attended by leaders of the transitional, military, and security local authorities, sheikhs, poets, intellectuals, social figures, and a large crowd of citizens.

Over the past few days, the Yafa’i regions witnessed heritage celebrations in which members of the Yafa’ tribes participated and presented a unique artistic model in displaying the authentic Yafa’i folk heritage and legacy.

These heritage events are an annual tradition that young people have become accustomed to to embody and highlight their heritage and popular heritage, such as folk dances and arts, and to express the joy of Eid.
