Al-Marqab calls on the Yemeni government to intervene to solve the problem of two thousand Yemenis who are threatened with deportation from Qatar

The Secretary-General of the World Federation of Yemeni Communities and Head of the Yemeni Community in Qatar, Counselor Zein Mohsen Al-Marqab, explained that there are approximately 2,000 individuals and families of Yemeni expatriates who have been present for years, and the Qatari authorities have issued decisions to return all visitors of all nationalities to their country, including Yemeni nationality.
He confirmed that the Qatari government had set June 30, 2024, as the last date for departure... noting that all doors had been knocked to make an exception for members of the Yemeni community, in addition to the efforts of Ambassador Rajeh Badi, but with great regret all efforts made so far have failed. .
The observer said that the conditions that people are living in are extremely miserable, and there are no air or land lines, and the community is living in a predicament and very difficult and complicated times. He called on the Yemeni government to provide means of transportation to return this category of afflicted people.
