The Central Bank prohibits dealing with unlicensed electronic cash wallets

Today, Wednesday, the Central Bank of Yemen directed all banks and exchange companies to stop dealing with 12 unlicensed entities, wallets, and prepayment services, vowing to hold accountable those who violate the instructions.
The Central Bank said, in a circular issued by it, that “all banks and exchange establishments must prohibit direct and indirect dealing with unlicensed entities, wallets, and electronic payment services.”
He added that the unlicensed services are: “Cash Wallet, International Money, Mobile Wallet, Flosak Wallet, Saba Cash Wallet, Mobily Money Wallet, Yemen Wallet, Integrated Wallet, Jeep Wallet, WeCash Wallet, Real Mobily Wallet, Wallet Electronic riyal.
The circular obligated all banks and companies to “stop dealing with any entities, wallets, or other electronic financial services that are not licensed by the Central Bank of Yemen.”
