The Coast Guard warns against swimming in the beaches of the Arabian Sea during the monsoon season

The Coast Guard Service of the Yemeni government warned citizens of the danger of swimming in the beaches adjacent to the Arabian Sea during the windy season.
The Coast Guard leadership called on citizens, in the governorates of (Al-Mahra, Hadramaut, Shabwa, and Socotra), to exercise caution and not go into sea water in order to protect their lives from drowning as a result of the intensification and height of the waves during the period from June to September 2024 AD.
She stressed that parents should ensure the safety of their children by providing them with advice and preventing them from diving into sea water.
The day before yesterday, two deaths from drowning were recorded in Al-Mahra and Abyan governorates, at a time when the sea was witnessing agitation and rising waves.
