The commander of the Asifra Front in Taiz Governorate in the ranks of the Houthi militia, called Abdul Salam Saeed, was killed along with a number of his members, and others were injured, during a failed infiltration attempt towards the positions of government forces in the region.

Field sources confirmed that the Houthi militia launched a violent attack on the positions of government forces on the Asifra front, located north of the city of Taiz, in an attempt to control the area.

The sources explained that government forces responded to the attack valiantly and thwarted the infiltration attempt, which led to the death of Abdul Salam Saeed and a number of his members, and the injury of others.
