A Yemeni man was arrested for helping 4 Thai women run a prostitution network in Thailand

The Indian police arrested a Yemeni who helped 4 Thai women obtain fake Indian cards, as they were running a prostitution network in the Thana area in the Indian city of Mumbai.
Informed sources said that Indian police arrested a Yemeni man on Wednesday for allegedly helping four Thai women obtain fake Aadhaar and PAN cards after one of them was detained on charges of running a prostitution ring in the Thane area of the Indian city of Mumbai.
He said that Thane police arrested S, A, M, S (42 years old) from the city of Pune on Tuesday. Acting on a tip-off, a team from the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of Thane Police raided a hotel last week and arrested a 44-year-old Thai woman for allegedly running a sex racket. Police said three other Thai women were rescued from there.
During the investigation, the police learned that the Yemeni national helped the four women obtain fake Aadhaar and PAN cards. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Shivraj Patel said on Wednesday that with the help of technical leads, they tracked him down to Pune and detained him. He said the Yemeni national and the arrested Thai woman were living in India even though their passports and visas had expired, adding that the police had now implemented the National Foreigners Act and updated the original FIR.
