Tribal clashes in Upper Egypt in Shabwa are renewed and stopped through tribal mediation

Today, the Upper Egypt region in Shabwa Governorate witnessed violent clashes between the tribes of Al-Ahmad bin Farid and Al-Bubakar bin Farid, in which heavy weapons were used. The clashes, which began this morning, stopped for a short period before they were renewed this afternoon.
p>With the escalation of tensions, mediation from the Al Ali tribes intervened, along with the Al Muhammad tribes, the quarries, and the quorum masters, and, thanks to God, they were able to stop the clashes again a short while ago.
Currently, mediators are present at Al Ahmad bin Farid sites in an attempt to stabilize the truce and prevent renewed fighting, amid calls to stop bloodshed and resolve disputes peacefully.
The reasons for the conflict between the two tribes belonging to the Farid family are not known, and the interim president of the governorate, Sheikh Lahmar, intervened, while the local authority did not pay attention to the issue, which exacerbated the conflict and disrupted life in the school.
