Sources working in the General Electricity Corporation confirmed that the electricity service is close to being completely shut down in all the directorates of the temporary capital, Aden.

The sources said in their testimony to (Aden Al-Ghad newspaper) that the specified quantities of fuel for power generation plants are nearing completion.

The sources indicated that electricity was recently supplied with quantities of fuel, but it was stopped by a tribal sector in Abyan Governorate and prevented from crossing.

The sources stated that the delayed arrival of fuel will cause a complete shutdown of the generating stations in the coming hours.
