Meteorology forecast thunderstorms in 14 governorates during the next 24 hours.
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning said that it expects scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity, with hailstones sometimes falling on parts of the governorates (Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Al-Bayda, Dhamar, Raymah and the highlands of Lahj, Abyan and Shabwa), (Saada, Hajjah, Amran, Al-Mahwit and Sana’a) and areas of the Tihama Plain.
It is possible that dust will spread widely over the deserts of Hadramaut, Al-Mahra and parts of the governorates ( Aden, Shabwa, Taiz and Lahj)
The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning warned citizens against being in the depths of valleys and flood paths and taking shelter from thunderstorms in the mountainous highlands where rain is expected.
It also warned against exposure to dust in particular. The elderly, children, and those suffering from chest diseases in dusty areas.
