Details of the killing of a citizen at a security point in Shabwa

The citizen Salem Sael Al-Khulaifi, a nurse working at the Authority’s Ataq Hospital, was killed after being exposed to gunfire at one of the Shabwa defense points, the eastern entrance to the governorate’s capital.
According to local sources, Al-Khulaifi was heading home from his work site at the Authority Hospital on his motorcycle, which he passes more than once a day at the same point.
The incident sparked widespread anger and resentment in the governorate, demanding that Al-Najah be handed over to the competent authorities and that the entrance points of Ataq be handed over to the Shabwa Governorate police.
While members of the Khalifa tribes gathered yesterday evening near the point and received promises from officials to hand over the perpetrators to the judiciary.
The situation remains tense in the governorate's capital, which has witnessed a recent security chaos.
