The Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi, today, along with the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, visited the distinguished artist, Awad Ahmed, to check on his health after he entered a hospital in the capital, Aden, to receive treatment.

Al-Shuaibi and Al-Eryani conveyed the greetings of His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, to the artist Awad Ahmed, his interest in monitoring his health condition, and his wishes for a speedy recovery... pointing to His Excellency’s directives to treat him at the state’s expense and provide everything necessary for him to recover.

Al-Shuaibi and Al-Eryani praised the role of the artist Awad in supplying the cultural scene with his artistic production and his efforts in the field of Yemeni song from an early time... stressing the role of artists and creators in creating awareness and preserving the Yemeni singing heritage that is being bulldozed by the terrorist Houthi militias.< /p>

For his part, the artist Awad Ahmed expressed his happiness with the visit.. appreciating the generous care of His Excellency the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the government’s direction to pay attention to the artistic and cultural community and its appreciation for their influential role in society.

Al-Shuaibi and Al-Iryani were accompanied during the visit by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Muhammad Al-Shaabi, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Abdul Basit Al-Qaidi.
