Transitional spokesman on the Ashal case: Under no circumstances can we accept any security defects or violations

The official spokesman for the Southern Transitional Council, Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki, affirmed the Council’s position in support of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani and his family, in the case of his kidnapping, stressing the rejection of any security flaw or violations, whatever they may be.
Al-Awlaki wrote in a post on his Facebook page: “Solidarity and standing with Al-Jaadani and his family is the position of all honorable people and people of living conscience, and there is a difference between those who stand with truth and goodness, enforcing the law and achieving justice, and those who exploit the events and employ them politically and regionally to incite, doubt, and raise Sedition.”
Al-Awlaki referred to the security achievements achieved by the “Southern Forces” in Aden and Mukalla, comparing the years 2016 and 2023, as Aden witnessed 89 terrorist operations in 2016, while no operation was recorded in 2023, and Mukalla was under the control of ISIS. Al-Qaeda in 2016, while enjoying security and stability in 2023.
Al-Awlaki attributed this progress to the sacrifices of the heroes of the southern forces, stressing the continuation of their efforts to enhance security and fight terrorism, stressing the rejection of any security imbalance or violations, and stressing the rule of law for all.
Al-Awlaki concluded his post by saying: “With all these successes, sacrifices and achievements of the southern forces, we say that in no way can we accept any defects or security violations, from any party, and we will only be with the law and its enforcement on everyone, regardless of their qualities.” And correcting any imbalance, and the southern person, his security and stability will remain the focus of the southern project.”
