Expert: The dollar exchange rate will not return to what it was even if President Saleh returns

Economist Majid Al-Daari confirmed that if the Muscat understandings on the economic file succeed and oil exports resume, the dollar exchange rate will become 1,500 Yemeni riyals.
Al-Daari added that it is impossible for the dollar exchange rate to return to 500 Yemeni riyals again, even if former President Ali Abdullah Saleh returns to ruling Yemen.
Al-Daari explained that the economic crisis the country is experiencing requires radical measures and structural changes to achieve financial stability.
Noting that any progress in the ongoing economic talks may contribute to improving the economic situation, even gradually.
