Nasr Harhara, Rapporteur of the National Assembly, said that the Southern Transitional Council was able to create political consensus with the southern forces seeking to establish a fully sovereign state of the South.
He pointed out, in media statements on Sunday, the success of the Council’s call for the southern national dialogue, which lasted for two years, and its achievement of a broad popular and political consensus, leading to the signing of the National Charter by 37 southern political entities.
He explained that there is a document on the controls and principles of political negotiation, which the Southern Transitional Council can engage in, on the path to achieving the aspirations of southerners, pointing to the Council’s openness to components not participating in the national dialogue.
