The Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Muhammad Al-Daari, said that the armed forces support a just peace that guarantees an end to the coup, the restoration of state institutions, and the deterrence of injustice, Houthi arrogance, and its aggression against the Yemeni people. He added, “We are not against peace, but if war is imposed on us, then we are for it.”

This came in a speech during the inauguration of the second phase of the 2024 training year, which was held at the Military College in the temporary capital, Aden, where he pointed out that the members of the Military College are one of the factors in the renaissance of the armed forces, and their future bet is to transfer military units to the highest levels of efficiency. And effectiveness, pointing out that the launch of the second phase of the training year means starting with high morale and new activity to higher levels of training and qualification, considering the Military College is the ideal in discipline, commitment, training and education.

The Minister of Defense praised the heroes of the armed forces stationed on various combat fronts to confront the Houthi militia of treachery and priesthood, noting the great sacrifices of the martyrs and wounded of the armed forces that were made in all fields of glory and dignity.

Minister Al-Daari stressed the necessity of understanding military laws and regulations and applying them effectively to the reality within the college and then transferring them to the military units, stressing the protection of members of the armed forces from rumors that attempt to target and harm the military institution.
