Houthi supervisors resorted to the method of pressuring a citizen from Sanaa in order to prevent him from revealing that a Houthi leader had raped this citizen’s daughter, and to work on marrying him to her.

Local sources said that a Houthi leader raped a 9-year-old girl, as Houthi militia supervisors rushed to put pressure on the citizen to stop the crime, as they would force the Houthi leader to marry the 9-year-old girl.

The sources indicated that the Houthi leader, Ahmed Hussein Nejad, raped the 9-year-old girl, Jannat Taher Al-Siyaghi.

The sources added that supervisors from the Houthi group pressured the girl’s father to prevent him from being referred to the relevant authorities and to punish him urgently as a result of the crime that stirred up citizens and public opinion.

The girl's father appeared in a video clip talking about the crime of rape of his child by the so-called "Ahmadinejad", demanding that Sharia be applied to the perpetrator.

The girl's father appealed to the honorable people of Yemen and all citizens to support him in turning his case into a case of honor and public opinion, pointing out that the perpetrator is relying on leaders and supervisors from the group, who are putting pressure on him and trying to force him to marry her to him.

It is noteworthy that the perpetrator, called “Ahmed Hossein Nejad,” is 29 years old, and belongs to the Al-Makhader District, north of Ibb Governorate, in central Yemen.
