The Yemeni riyal recorded in trading, today, Monday, an unprecedented collapse in its history against foreign currencies in the temporary capital, Aden, and the neighboring governorates.

The price of the US dollar reached 1879 riyals to buy and 1888 riyals to sell, while the Saudi riyal rose to 492 riyals to buy and 493 riyals to sell.

For a week, the Yemeni riyal has been witnessing a rapid deterioration against foreign currencies amid suspicious government silence regarding this catastrophic collapse.
