The City Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Aden expressed its strong dissatisfaction with the failure of some citizens to throw garbage in the designated garbage barrels.
The Fund said in a statement that it places garbage barrels in residential neighborhoods and commercial streets, in order for citizens to throw garbage in the middle of them, until the cleaners come and take them according to the daily program.
The Fund added that the failure of some citizens to throw garbage in the barrels causes an annoying sight for passers-by, and costs the sanitation worker additional effort and time.
The Fund explained that if the citizen committed to delivering the garbage to the middle of the barrel, it would not cost him any fatigue or effort, while what he is doing costs the cleaning worker and the work crew a lot of effort.
The Fund stressed the importance of citizens’ commitment to throwing garbage in designated bins, in order to preserve the cleanliness of the city and the health of citizens.
