The governorates of Aden and Taiz woke up, this Sunday morning, to a sudden comprehensive closure of all branches of Al-Kuraimi Bank.
Local sources said that all branches of Al-Kuraimi Bank in Aden and Taiz closed their doors to citizens without knowing the reasons.
They stated Sources said that large queues of citizens were seen in front of Al-Kuraimi branches with the aim of withdrawing their money via the ATM.
This comes in conjunction with the recent decisions issued by the Central Bank of Yemen in Aden regarding the six violating banks, including Al-Kuraimi Bank.
