A ship carrying 33 thousand tons of diesel arrives in Aden to supply power stations

The ship "PIONEER" arrived today at the oil port dock of the Aden Refineries Company, carrying about 33 thousand tons of diesel intended for power stations in the capital, Aden.
The samples taken from the shipment are currently being examined, and after the examination is completed, the diesel will be emptied into the refinery tanks, and then it will be pumped to the oil company’s facilities in Aden for urgent distribution to power stations to meet the shortage of diesel fuel.
In another step to support the electricity sector, yesterday the solar station provided by the UAE was put into service in Aden with a full capacity of 120 megawatts. It is expected that this station will contribute to saving fuel and enhancing the city's electrical generation capabilities.
