Today, journalist Majed Al-Daari announced the closure of Al-Ghad Al-Mashreq Channel and Radio, and the dismissal of all its employees, after receiving a letter dispensing with his services, and his colleagues receiving the same letter. He considered it a shocking closure in an article he published on his Facebook page, monitored by the editor of Scope 24.
Al-Daari explained that the reason for the closure was the expiration of the radio project, the change in priorities of the country supporting it, and its agendas in Yemen.
Al-Daari added that closing the channel and radio station will expose the southern cadres working there to danger, as they will be forced to search for new work, or be exposed to media and political polarization from other parties.
