The General Retirement Administration announced today the start of disbursing the pension of Ministry of Interior retirees for the month of June 2024, as of this evening, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, through the Al-Qutaybi Islamic Microfinance Bank and all its branches in the liberated governorates.

Brigadier General Naif Al-Humaidi, Director General of Retirement at the Ministry of Interior, explained in a special statement to the Ministry’s electronic portal: “The pension for the month of June 2024 will be disbursed to Interior and Political Security retirees as of this evening, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, through Al-Qutaybi Bank and all its branches in the governorates.” Edited, according to the format approved by the General Administration of the Ministry’s Security Retirement Fund.”

Al-Humaidi directed the directors of departments in the General Administration of the Security Retirement Fund and the directors of branches in the liberated governorates to facilitate the procedures for retirees and overcome all the difficulties they face in order to provide the best services to the segment of families of martyrs and retirees, in appreciation of their roles and sacrifices for the sake of the homeland, as a minimum of appreciation for their life’s journey full of giving to their homeland.

Appreciating the efforts of the Minister of the Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Retirement Fund, which resulted in the follow-up of the payment of the pension for the month of June 2024.

Expressing his regret for delaying the pension of retirees and the families of the martyrs and deceased for the month of June beyond its specified date, as a result of circumstances beyond the control of the General Administration of the Ministry’s Security Retirement Fund.

Calling for the regular disbursement of their pensions, and the completion of procedures for approving the financial enhancement regarding the presidential decision regarding addressing the issues of military, security, and civilian employees removed from their jobs in the southern governorates, which was approved by the Council of Ministers, based on the directives of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the disbursement of all legal dues. To the retirees, in appreciation of their efforts, fulfillment of their sacrifices, and gratitude for the patriotic and militant roles they performed towards their country and people.
